Dalia Sport Grombalia Center Romeo Enan has urged Ivory Coast’s Male National Basketball Team to get itself ready for this year’s World Cup.

He made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of The Elephants progression to the 2019 FIBA World Cup in China.

Ivory Coast sealed qualification to China this past weekend in the final round of qualifiers played in Abidjan. Ivory Coast beat Central African Republic to clinch the final slot.

Speaking to Ghana’s leading basketball portal, the former Tertiary Player of the Year Award winner at the Ghana Basketball Awards stated:

“Now we have to get ready for the world cup and make sure we make our country and continent proud”.

Ivory Coast joins Angola, Nigeria, Senegal and Tunisia as Africa’s representatives in the upcoming tournament in Asia in September.

The 6 foot 11 inch Enan played for Ivory Coast at the 2017 African Nations Championship (AfroBasket). He played for Accra Basketball League heavyweight Braves of Customs and Accra Technical University before moving to Tunisia.
