The second edition of the tournament doubled as a tune up for the 2019 Tema League and had all eight teams that competed in the 2018 playoffs compete.
Nungua Coldstore won the BetWay Tournament successfully defending the title the team won last year that was held in Takoradi.
Community 4 failed to live up to expectations and lost heavily to Coldstore failing to crack the double digit margin in a loss to Coldstore at the preliminary stage.
This follows a disappointing run from the team in last season’s league run that had them exit in the first round to Tema Community 2.
With the new season set to commence on March 24, the team needs a major upturn in form to return to winning ways. Coldstore heads to the 2019 season as defending league champions.
