Austin Spurs 2018-2019 season has worsened after failing to win a game in consecutive fashion in the NBA Gatorade League.
Last season’s league champions has Ghana Center and NBA hopeful Amida Brimah on its roster but has struggled to recapture the supreme form of the previous campaign.
Spurs lost 96-110 to Aqua Caliente Clippers in its latest league game after falling to South Bay Lakers on Friday, February 23. Both losses were suffered away from home.
Brimah has failed to score in double digits or produce high blocked shots tallies in the losses registering six points, seven rebounds, three assists and a block in 26 minutes.
He scored two of seven free throw attempts in the game and turned the ball over three times in a disappointing showing.
Spurs back to back losses come on the back of finishing fourth at the recent FIBA Intercontinental Cup held in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Brimah was one of a few bright spots on the Spurs team and ended the competition ranked second in rebounds and blocks.
