In the lead up to this year’s Universities, Polytechnics and Colleges (UPAC) Basketball Championship, Basketballghana.com takes a look at some of the highlight moments of the 2018 edition of Ghana’s biggest tertiary basketball competition.

The newly refurbished basketball court of Pope John Senior High School and Minor Seminary hosted the opening round of the preliminary stages in last year’s competition.

The Koforidua based school hosted All Nations University College, Ho Technical University and Koforidua Technical University for the first time.

All three institutions enjoyed the excellent playing surface of the improved court and massive support from the enthusiastic young crowd at the venue.

All Nations scraped through to the national stage after sharing the same record with the other participants. However, All Nations superior goal difference proved the difference maker.

POJOSS is reported to serve as host for the second straight year in the upcoming zonal competition. This year’s UPAC commences launches later this month and games tip off in early March.
