Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) is set to play Koforidua Technical University (KTU) today at the Accra Technical University (ATU) Court for this year’s Ghana Technical Universities / Polytechnics Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games Women’s Basketball Bronze medal today.
The game is scheduled for tip off right after Sunyani Technical University (STU) plays KsTU’s Male team in the third and fourth placed game in the Men’s Division.
Koforidua competed well in the latter part of its matchup against Takoradi Technical University (TTU) yesterday but couldn’t prevent a 10-24 loss.
A poor first half performance had Koforidua trail by 12 points (3-15) to Takoradi and its improved form in the second half couldn’t salvage the situation.
Kumasi on the other hand, didn’t exactly cover itself in glory after failing to show up for its matchup against ATU in the first semifinal game.
The institution’s no show resulted in a walk over win for defending champions Accra Technical University (ATU). TTU plays ATU in the final game on Saturday, February 9 at 7:00 GMT.
