Accra Technical University (ATU) and Takoradi Technical University (TTU) have emerged once again as the dominant teams in the Ghana Technical Universities / Polytechnics Sports Association (GHATUSA) Games Basketball event.

The two institutions names are ubiquitous in the final stage of the biannual multi sport competition as both teams are due to face off in the Women’s and Men’s Divisions respectively.

In the Male Division, ATU beat Sunyani Technical University (STU) 29-20 in the first semifinal before TTU run over Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) via a 52-23 win.

In the Female Division, ATU didn’t break a sweat as the the defending champions earned a walkover win over KsTU while TTU had a brilliant en route to a 24-10 win over Koforidua Technical University (KTU.

All the semifinal games were played earlier today at the ATU Court in Tudu and the venue will host the final games on Saturday, February 9.

The Women’s Division Final tips off at 7:00 GMT and the Male Division Final commences at 9:00 GMT.
