Issues with the weather forced a Kumasi Basketball League game to be cancelled and subsequently postponed this past weekend.

The game between Ayeduase Snipers and Patasi Invaders was scheduled to be played on Saturday, February 2 at the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.

It was scheduled to be the second matchup on the day with league leaders Ashanti Royals taking on Asafo Klicks in the first game.

Klicks played and surprisingly beat Royals 64-45 in the first game but the second couldn’t come off due to what the league officially stated “weather issues”.

The game has been rescheduled to be played on the final day of the regular season on February 23 at the same venue slightly altering the schedule in the process.

Originally, a matchup between Asawase Comets and Klicks was the sole game to be played on the aforementioned date.

Snipers rank second in the six team league standings with 13 points from winning six of seven games and will play in the playoffs.

Invaders on the other hand, are fifth and need wins and some results to go in its favour to make the playoffs.
