Peristeri GS three game losing run has been snapped thanks to the huge efforts of Ghana Forward Ben Bentil who dominated against Holargos in the Greece A1 Basketball League.
The Sekondi born player with a stint at NBA team Dallas Mavericks on his CV, led all players in scoring as he dropped 20 in the 76-75 win.
The close and hard fought win prevented Peristeri from falling to four straight losses after dropping games to the likes of AEK Athens and Promitheas.
Bentil scored 20 points on the back of converting two of four three point attempts and 10 and of 13 attempts from the free throw line.
He added three rebounds, three steals and a block in 29 minutes off the bench for the Athens based team away from home.
This is Bentil’s second mark leading a game in scoring since moving to Greece ahead of this season after playing in France and Spain last season.
Three other Peristeri players scored in double figures including Point Guard Steven Gray.
