Accra Technical University (ATU) Women’s Basketball Team is scheduled to play Ho Technical University today at 14:00 GMT at the Prisons Court in Accra.

The defending champions-ATU- takes on Ho Technical in the opening basketball game in the Women’s Division in the Ghana Technical Universities Sports Associations (GHATUSA) Games.

The GHATUSA Games were opened on Friday, February 1 and is set to conclude on Sunday, February 10 with ATU playing host.

The multisport competition was previously known as GHAPSA (Ghana Polytechnics Sports Association) Games and this year’s edition is the first under the new name.

ATU is heavily tipped to feature in another final game this time after winning the 2017 edition held in Bolgatanga in Ghana’s Upper East Region.

Kumasi Technical University plays Takoradi Technical University in the next game at the same venue at 16:00 GMT.

Accra Technical’s Male Team topped the Men’s Division two years ago and started on the right note in this year’s tournament.

Playing at ATU’s Court, the host team scored a 31-28 win over Kumasi Technical University (KsTU) in the opening game earlier today.
