Sitting in the basement of the 2018-2019 Kumasi Basketball League standings, Ejisu Razors have no chance of making the postseason cut.
The team is ranked last in the six team league with no wins in eight games including a 54-78 loss to Asawasi Comets in the previous round.
To progress to the postseason, the team needs to feature in the top four spots but with two games remaining, Razors has no chance of making the cut due to the point build up of the teams ranked directly above them.
Asafo Klicks and Patasi Invaders rank fourth and fifth in the standings with 11 and 10 points respectively meaning losing the two remaining games on the calendar still keeps them in the hunt for a playoff run.
Klicks would have 13 points while Invaders would have 12 points. Should Razors win both games in the best case scenario, its 12 point build up wouldn’t be enough to surpass Klicks.
Razors play Klicks and Invaders on February 16 and 23 at the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School.
