2018-2019 Kumasi Basketball League leaders Ashanti Royals are set to be in action on Saturday, February 2 against Asafo Klicks in the latest round of games.
The upcoming fixture is the penultimate game for the league’s leading side; the team plays its final matchup on February 16 against Ayeduase Snipers.
This weekend’s game is scheduled to be played at the Kumasi Anglican Senior High School at 8:00 GMT and is the first of two to be played on the day.
Second placed team Snipers take on Patasi Invaders in the final game this Saturday with Invaders heading to the game ranked fifth in the six team league roster.
Royals have the chance to improve its season record to eight wins in nine games before the season finale against Klicks.
The Asafo-based Klicks are fourth on the table with four wins in seven games and face a Royals side that beat Invaders 80-64 in the previous round.
The top four seeds progress to the playoffs and the finals will be played in March.
