Ghana Christian High International School (GCHIS) has set out a day by day process to win its third International Schools Sports Association Games (ISSAG) Basketball competition for a third straight time according to Coach Charles Adjei-Fodjour.
GCHIS’ Male Basketball Team won its second straight Basketball Title at the Games held at Ghana International School (GIS) on Saturday, January 26.
Ghana Christian High scored an 18-15 win over Morgan International School in the final game after recovering from a poor start.
GCHIS beat SOS Herman Gmeiner to win last year’s title and beat Morgan International with a new group of players after losing eight from the 2018 group.
In an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com after the competition, Coach Charles Adjei-Fodjour delivered a cautious response when quizzed on the team’s chances of winning a third straight title.
“Well it’s a day by day process’ he said in response after leading the school to another big achievement. GCHIS Female Team placed third in the Girls Division.
SOS Herman Gmeiner placed third in the Boys Division.
