Temple University’s Male Basketball Team failed to capitalize on Ghana Forward Ernest Aflakpui’s big game outing against Penn State University.

Despite having a 21 point, 15 rebounds production from Aflakpui, the Owls failed to clinch a win as the side lost 70-77 to Penn over the weekend.

Later tonight, Temple plays its second straight home game at Memphis University needing a win to avoid falling to back to back losses for the first time this season.

Temple University rolls into the game with 14 wins in 18 games while Memphis has 12 wins in 18 games this season. Both teams have won four of their last five games.

Aflakpui’s production against Penn led all players in points and rebounds and were personal highs for the 6 foot 10 inch player.

The Ghanaian player has had modest numbers in his prior years at Temple but his overall numbers and minutes on the court have improved in his final year.
