After losing to the Santa Cruz Warriors in its previous game, Austin Spurs rebounded to clinch a 122-114 win over South Bay Lakers earlier this morning.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah played in the game grabbing ten rebounds, scoring seven points and blocking two shots off the bench.
The former University of Connecticut Captain played 22 minutes scoring three of four field goal attempts and converted one of three attempts from the free throw line.
On a personal level, Brimah rebounded from a poor showing in the previous game where he went scoreless as back up Center.
Drew Eubanks who started at Center led the game in scoring with 27 points and added 15 rebounds for a double double in the win. Point Guard Travis Trice III added 23 points.
After winning last season’s NBA Gatorade league title, Austin Spurs have had an up and down season losing contributors Jaron Blossomgame and Derrick White to NBA teams in the process.
Spurs play Iowa Wolves next later today.
