Ghana’s Amida Brimah was in action over the weekend in the NBA Gatorade League for Austin Spurs as the side took on Stockton Kings.
Spurs lost 109-116 to Stockton underlining an up and down campaign in the 2018-2019 season so far for the defending G-League champions.
Center Brimah scored 10 points while grabbing seven rebounds and registering a block in 22 minutes off the bench.
The 6 foot 11 inch defender scored four of seven field goal attempts and drained two of four free throw attempts in the game.
The former University of Connecticut Captain was one of five Spurs players to score in double figures; Amida is eligible to sign an NBA contract.
Kings’ Troy Williams led the game in scoring as he drained 24 points burying four of five attempts from three point range in the process.
2018 First round draft pick Shooting Guard Lonnie Walker led Spurs with 20 points. Spurs play Santa Cruz Warriors next on Wednesday January 16.
