Sekondi College (SEKCO) and Opoku Ware School (OWASS) won the final round of games at the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship group stage.
SEKCO rounded off an impressive berth in its maiden appearance in the competition with a 34-9 win over fellow debutant Bishop Herman College.
SEKCO won both matchups in Group A to clinch top spot ahead of defending champions Osu-PRESEC. The debutant clinched a shock win over Osu-PRESEC in its opening game.

In Group C, former Sprite Ball Champions OWASS run off with a 42-16 win over Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS) in the last game on Day One of this year’s competition.
OWASS established a huge lead early on giving Coach Alexander Obeng Takyi the chance to play several members from his second unit.
Opoku Ware has banished the demons from its last run in the competition where the school exited at the group stage after two losses.
