Male Division MVP Joel Koboayere.
Presbyterian Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) Physical Education Department Head Jonathan Bulley is adamant his team is weak for this year’s Sprite Ball Championship.

He made the statement in an exclusive chat on TV3’s morning show “New Day” in the early hours today as preparations continue ahead of this year’s competition.

The 2019 Sprite Ball Championship runs from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with Osu-PRESEC as defending Male Division Champions and Kumasi Girls Senior High School as defending Girls Division Champs.

Despite losing as many as seven players from the 2018 winning team for this year’s tournament, Bulley is confident his team will pull through.

“We had the MVP, we were the best team and most of them though have completed but I think we still have a very good team for this year” he said.

Captain Emmanuel Awumiwe was a member of last year’s winning team and is set to have a starring role in this year’s tournament.

Joel Koboayere was named Most Valuable Player of the 2018 edition.
