Persiteri GS clinched its tenth win of the 2018-2019 Greece A1 Basketball League season thanks to an 80-64 result over Cretan Kings.
Persiteri’s Ghana Forward Ben Bentil chipped in 12 points in the win continuing his fine form in his first season in Greece.
Despite committing three turnovers in the game, Bentil made amends for his errors by scoring all three attempts from three point range.
He scored one of four attempts from the field and converted his only free throw attempt in 24 minutes off the bench.
Bentil was one of four players from Peristeri to score in double figures with Point Guard Ryan Harrow leading the way with 15 points.
The 6 foot 8 inch Bentil is the first Ghana born player to play in the NBA after starring at the collegiate level with Providence College.
Beating Kings keeps Persiteri in third place in the 14 team standings right behind leaders Panathinaikos who are yet to be beaten in 11 games and second placed Olympaikos.
