Ghana Center Amida Brimah represented the West African nation literally on the court in Austin Spurs 97-110 loss to Memphis Hustle in the NBA Gatorade League.

The game played at the HEB Cedar Center in Austin, Brimah had Ghana’s National Flag imprinted at the front section on his all white sneakers.

Amida showed the “Ghanaian” shoes off via his Twitter account and attached the caption “repping the home team tonight #Ghanabasketball”.

The former University of Connecticut Captain played 26 minutes in the loss and recorded nine points, 13 rebounds and a game leading four blocks.

Teammate Drew Eubanks tied Brimah’s block tally in the game with the Ghanaian defender adding an assist to his production.

He fell just a point shy of recording a double double in the game several players struggled offensively with just Spurs players scoring in double figures.

2018 NBA Draft pick Lonnie Walker led all players in scoring 34 points on the back of scoring four of six three point shot attempts.

Spurs take on Oklahoma City Blue on January 8.
