Adisadel College (Adisco) and Opoku Ware School (OWASS) will face off for the second straight year at the preliminary stage of the Sprite Ball Championship.
Both schools were drawn in Group D in the 2018 Championship and have been drawn in Group C in the upcoming edition.
The 2019 Sprite Ball runs from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with 12 Boys Schools and eight Girls schools participating.
Adisco and Owass are joined in the group by former silver medal winners Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS).
At the 2018 edition, Sacred Heart Senior High Technical School and Mawuli Senior High School joined Adisco and Owass in Group D.
Adisadel beat Opoku Ware 15-14 in last year’s meet as Opoku Ware disappointed in its title defense by crashing out at the group stage.
OWASS lost 28-35 to Sacred Heart but managed a 44-13 win over Mawuli to place third in the group only a year after winning Ghana’s biggest high school basketball competition.
