The draw for this year’s Sprite Ball Championship has been made with the program airing live for the first time via internet portal Facebook.
The event was held earlier today with Ghana Education Service National Physical Education Coordinator Emmanuel Domenyah gracing the occasion.
20 schools have qualified to compete in this year’s Championship with eight schools in the Girls Division and 12 schools in the Boys Division.
Defending Boys Champions Presbyterian Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) headlines Group A which has debutants Bishop Herman College and Sekondi College.
2018 Finalist and record winners of the competition, Mfantsipim School, is in Group D with St. John’s School and Keta Business College.
Group C has former winners Opoku Ware School, Adisadel College and two time bronze medal winners Koforidua Senior High Technical School (KSTS).
Group B has Pope John Senior High School and Junior Seminary (POJOSS), Prempeh College and West Africa Senior High School (WASS).
In the Girls Division, defending champions Kumasi Girls Senior High School is in Group A with West Africa Senior High School (WASS), Mawuli Senior High School and Mfantseman Girls Senior High School.
Group B has two time silver medal winners Accra Wesley Girls High School, Shama Senior High School, Nkawkaw Senior High School and St. Louis Senior High School.
