Ghana Center Amida Brimah broke out o his scoring slump in a big way by scoring 14 points in Austin Spurs 118-122 loss to Sioux Falls Skyforce in the NBA Gatorade League.
The loss comes in the aftermath of Spurs 111-105 win over the same opponent on Tuesday morning in the all Western Conference showdown.
After scoring in single digits in three straight games, Brimah returned to double digit scoring with his 14 point production in the loss.
His scoring output is timely considering NBA teams can hand out ten day contracts to NBA G League players starting Saturday, January 5.
Brimah added five rebounds an assist, a steal and a game leading three blocks in 20 minutes with no turnovers while scoring seven of eight attempts from the field.
Charles Cooke of Skyforce led all players in scoring with 26 points converting six on a scorching six of eight attempts from three point range.
