Ghanaian Basketball Pundit Ato Ulzen-Appiah has been named winner at the 2018 African Youth Awards Basketballghana.com can confirm.
The soft spoken Entrepreneur and Consultant was voted the winner of the prestigious African Youth of the Year Award. He was one of just five nominees to win awards in various categories in the fifth edition of the event beating out over 50 nominees to clinch the top prize.
Ulzen-Appiah has for several years championed Youth Advocacy on the continent and used every instance to inspire Africa’s significant Youth populace.
He is the Director of GhanaThink Foundation which runs Bar Camp Ghana, Junior Camp Ghana and Ghana Volunteer Program as a means to mentor Ghana’s youth to become game changers.
The respective programs tremendous success has pushed Ulzen-Appiah’s initiatives beyond the borders of Ghana to the likes of Rwanda.
Ulzen-Appiah doubles as an avid basketball pundit with regular appearances on Ghana’s premier basketball show “Courtside” which airs on Kwese Free Sports, is a San Antonio Spurs and Boston Celtics fan and former student of Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Legon).
