Prempeh College Assistant Headmaster Ernest Antwi Gyimah is talking really tough ahead of the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship.
Next year’s competition runs from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with 12 schools in the Boys Division and eight schools in the Girls Division set to participate.
The veteran Educationist stated his school’s preparation for Ghana’s biggest high school basketball competition goes beyond 200% during the Ashanti Regional leg of this year’s Sprite Ball Trophy Tour.
Prempeh College is representing the region alongside rival Opoku Ware School in the Boys Division in Accra in January and Headmaster Gyamfi expressed extreme confidence in his team’s chances.
“For those schools in Accra and Cape-Coast, when you go, tell that we are more than prepared. Our preparations is gone past 200%. The Mfantsipim (School), POJOSS (Pope John Senior High School… we will be at them. The Sprite Ball National Trophy is for Prempeh College” he said.
Prempeh has been an ever present at Sprite Ball and won Silver at the national games in 2010.
