Aflakpui (24) gets ready for game
Ghana Center Ernest Aflakpui was in fine form for Temple University as the Owls scored a an 82-64 win over Drexel University over the weekend.

Aflakpui contributed a 10 point, 11 rebound double double in 29 minutes as Temple University improved its record to 10 wins in 12 games this season.

Despite missing both of his free throw attempts and committing two turnovers, the 6 foot 10 inch player had a big night as he added a steal and two assists.

Aflakpui started at Center and grabbed four offensive rebounds and contributed on the defensive end with seven rebounds while scoring five of seven field goal attempts. He led all players in rebounds in the game.

Guard Shizz Alston Jnr. and Nate Pierre-Louis scored 25 and 22 points respectively to pace the game in scoring; Pierre-Louis added nine rebounds and four assists.

Temple returns to action on January 2 in a game against University of Central Florida. Drexel has six wins in 13 games this season.
