Sekondi College ‘s Male Basketball Team Coach Christian Tandoh has stated his team’s immense preparations will be enough to see it annex the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship.

He made the statement during the Western Region leg of this year’s Sprite Ball Trophy Tour which touched base at the school recently.

The upcoming edition of the Sprite Ball Championship runs from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra with 20 schools participating.

Sekondi College (SEKCO) and St. John’s School are the region’s representatives in the Boys Division while Shama Senior High School is due to represent the region in the Girls Division.

This is SEKCO’s maiden trip to the national competition but Coach Tandoh strongly believes his side will go deep in the competition.

“We’ve prepared thoroughly we’ve been through a series of training and so we are greatly sure that we are going to bring the Trophy back to Western Region”.

SEKCO’s Male side is nicknamed the Spartans. Sprite Ball is Ghana’s biggest High School basketball competition.
