2018 Sprite Ball Champions Kumasi Girls.
The Sprite Ball Trophy Tour is heading to the Ashanti Region for the first time Basketballghana.com can confirm this week.

The Tour has made stops in the Greater Accra Region and Western Region ahead of the 2019 Sprite Ball Championship; Sprite Ball is Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball Tournament.

This is the maiden Trophy Tour in the region which houses the reigning Sprite Ball Champions in the Girls Division-Kumasi Girls High School.

There is great anticipation as former Boys Division National winners Opoku Ware School and 2010 finalist Prempeh College also prepare to host the entourage.

St. Louis Senior High School has qualified to represent the region in next year’s competition for the first time since last doing so in 2011.

Representatives in the Western Region and Greater Accra Region including St. John’s School and reigning National Boys Division Champions Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu).

The 2019 edition is due to take place from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra
