Defending Sprite Ball Champions Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC-Osu) has big plans to retain the coveted trophy according to Headmistress of the school Barbara Norteye.
Despite crashing out at the semifinal stage of the regional qualifiers, Osu-PRESEC is in high spirit ahead of the 2019 edition which comes off from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
She made this expression when speaking during the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour stop at the school recently. The tour has commenced and is heading to the Ashanti Region this week.
Osu-PPRESEC stunned the Boys Division in January this year when the team beat Mfantsipim School 25-22 to clinch its maiden national trophy. PRESEC humiliated the competition’s record winners in the opening game with a 45-14 win.
“We won the Sprite Ball Championship…we are getting our students ready to desire this cup as much as I do” she stated.
Jonathan Bulley, Physical Education Head of the school, added, “this time we are going to do more than we did last year…we’ve been training morning, afternoon”.
