Refoermers v CYO (white).
Galaxy (blue) dominated Rangers

Adabraka CYO has ended a wonderful run in the 2018 Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II by qualifying to Division I.

The team won all nine games in the season that ended on Saturday December 15 at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu with CYO featuring in the opening game.

CYO beat Junior Reformers 91-50 to seal its qualification to the elite division for next season and clinch all 18 points at stake in the division.

However, the team fell short of beating Tudu Galaxy’s mark of scoring the most points in a single game this season as Galaxy poured in 101 points in its big win over Teshie Rangers.

Galaxy clinched the mark with a 101-56 win over Rangers in Week 3 that turned out to be Galaxy’s first win of the season after back to back losses in the opening rounds.

CYO was just 10 points away from equaling the mark but the team has a lot to smile about as it moves up to Division I.
