Ghana and Austin Spurs Center was in fantastic form in the NBA Gatorade League in the wee hours today as he got back in double-double mode.

Brimah starred in Spurs 118-116 win over Iowa Wolves joining seven other players on Austin’s roster to score in double figures.

Amida scored 10 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and added four blocks and an assist in 20 minutes off the bench. Chimedzie Metu started at Center and led the team with 21 points.

The only knock on Brimah’s game this morning was his below average shooting from the free throw line as he converted four of 10 shots.

He fared better from the field as he drained three of five shots and led all players in blocks. Brimah is favorite to lead the league in blocks following the departure of leader Chris Boucher to the NBA;s Toronto Raptors.

Spurs go on a three day break and return on Wednesday, December 19 in an away game against Capital City. Iowa plays Sioux Falls Skyforce on Monday.
