Dunk (blue) in action against Ada

Dunk Knights stormed from behind to clinch a 65-59 win over Ada Knights earlier tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu.

The contest came to life in the final quarter where Dunk battled from a ten point deficit to tie the score with less than three minutes left to play before getting clutch baskets to seal the sensational win.

Guard Mohammed Yasser was the star man late on in the game as he delivered game changing back to back baskets from the three point zone.

Dunk trailed 9-18 at the end of the first quarter to Ada Knights. Ada maintained its lead in a much better scoring quarter with a 31-23 result.

Ada moved the ball better and put up points on the board to stretch its lead to 10 (39-29) with 3:46 played in the third quarter. Both teams traded points in a lively final minute to end the quarter with Ada maintaining its ten point lead (50-40).

Lumorvi spearheaded Dunk’s charge scoring big baskets to tie the score at 58 with 2:28 seconds remaining. Mohammed Yasser delivered two late three point shots to complete the comeback and give Dunk a 65-59 win.
