West Africa Senior High School (WASS) Basketball Coach Samuel Anaman has highlighted the key components in his outfit’s outstanding qualification to the Sprite Ball Championship.

WASS is set to play at the upcoming edition of Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball competition from January 11-12, 2019 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.

The school will represent Greater Accra Region in the Boys and Girls Divisions respectively after starring at the regional competition to qualify.

By qualifying in both divisions, WASS has achieved the rare feat achieved by two time national champions Aggrey Memorial Zion Senior High School in the December, 2016 edition.

Speaking to Basketballghana.com when the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour entourage visited the Adenta-based school, Coach Anaman said:

“We started with hard work, more practice time and the students themselves were disciplined that has made us achieve this particular goal”.

12 schools in the Boys Division and eight schools in the Girls Division will feature in the 2019 Sprite Ball.
