Ghana’s Western Region is next on the itinerary of the Sprite Ball Trophy Tour as the days tick down to the start of the nation’s biggest High School Basketball tournament.
The Trophy Tour has commenced with representatives from the nation’s capital region Greater Accra as the first to receive the entourage.
Students of West Africa Senior High School (WASS), Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (Osu-PRESEC) and Accra Wesley Girls High School were ecstatic with the arrival of the coveted trophy to their grounds.
WASS has a team representing the region in the Boys and Girls Divisions respectively with the remaining slots going to PRESEC-Osu and Accra Wesley Girls.
Sekondi College, St. John’s School and Shama Senior High School are representing Western Region in the next edition of Sprite Ball which comes off from January 11-12 at the El Wak Stadium in Accra.
All three schools are billed to be visited by the entourage on Friday, December 14. This will be the entourage’s second straight visit to St. John’s.
However, it will be the first for Shama and debutant Sekondi College.
