Tema Community Basketball League Representative Kenneth Caesar has heaped praise on the 2018 League Finalists for delivering a showpiece Finals Series.
He made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com in the aftermath of Nungua Coldstore’s 53-49 win over Tema Heat.
The win secured Coldstore’s second league title in three years and after the exciting three game series, Caesar lauded both teams.
“Well this season has been power packed…Coldstore started off winning all their games losing once to Francophone (Stars) so it is no surprise that they’ve been crowned champions based on the performance they were putting up, we all expected them to be in the finals and they didn’t disappoint” he said and added
“Tema Heat deserves a lot of credit they were not the best team (in the regular season) but come playoff time they showed their mantle they played very very good basketball especially in the Game 3…Kudos to Tema Heat”.
Coldstore replaces Tema Community 4 as League Winners.
