Nungua Coldstore Basketball Club Bankroller Wendell Otoo is expecting a big end to a marquee year for his outfit in the Tema Community Basketball League.
The team is set to face off against Tema Heat to decide the winner of this year’s League Trophy after splitting the series heading to Game 3 tonight at the Tema Community 4 Court.
The contest tips off at 17:30 GMT and a win guarantees Coldstore the best way to conclude the season which had them win the BetWay Tournament in Takoradi and contribute its quota to developing the league by repainting the Community 4 Court.
Aside team laurels, Coldstore is in line to get individual accolades as Shooting Guard Emmanuel Wolff has been nominated for the League’s Most Valuable Player Award.
Tema Community 2 Guard Kwame Attafuah has also been nominated for the top award which was won in 2016 by Coldstore Forward Kwame Boamah Djan.
Coldstore rolls into tonight’s game on the back of a dominant 86-56 win in Game 2 over Tema Heat.
