Nungua Coldstore wore a completely new grey colour with turquoise blue inscriptions jersey in its obliteration of Tema Heat in Game 2 of the Tema Community Basketball League Finals Series.
The strip change signaled a complete dominance for Coldstore as the 2016 League Champions easily walked away with an 86-56 win over Heat. Coldstore primarily plays in an all white jersey.
The big win tied the series heading to Game 3 tonight at the Tema Community 4 Court; Game 3 tips off at 17:30 GMT.
Per reports reaching Basketballghana.com, Coldstore is in line to wear the grey jerseys for tonight’s encounter to decide the winner of this year’s title.
Tema Heat clinched a 63-58 win in Game One but the side failed to come to the party in the second game as its attempt at a sweep fizzled out by half time in Game 2.
After failing to reach the finals in 2017, Coldstore is a win away from winning its second league title replacing 2017 winners Community 4. This is Heat’s maiden Finals appearance.
