Nungua Coldstore takes on Tema Heat for the final third time to decide the winner of the 2018 league title after a win for either side two games into the series.
Heat got off to a great start beating Coldstore 63-58 in Game One but was hapless in a 56-86 beat down from Nungua in Game Two.
Tema Heat needs to recover from the big loss from last Sunday to stand a chance of etching its name into the winners book of the Tema League.
This is Heat’s maiden appearance in the finals which is testament to the team’s year on year improvement after placing third last season.
The team beat Coldstore 53-50 to clinch the bronze medal and could replace Tema Cmmunity4 as league winners. Coldstore won the title in 2016.
Heat is likely not to have the services of veteran Guard Patrick Gomerli who is in Benin with Ghana’s representative at the FIBA Africa Champions Cup Zone 3 tournament, Braves of Customs.
