Novas (red) got past Galaxy
High flying Adabraka CYO takes on Novas Academy later today at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in a Week 8 fixture of the Accra Basketball League (ABL) Men’s Division II.

CYO leads the ten team standings with 14 points from winning all seven games played this season including the important 70-53 win over close rival Panthers.

The win gives CYO a two point cushion ahead of the round which has Panthers guaranteed match winning points due to the absence of Teshie Rangers in the division. Rangers withdrew from participating in the league after Week 3.

Novas lie seventh in the ten team standings with ten points from winning three of seven games including a 63-54 win over Junior Reformers in the previous Week.

The game tips off at 19:30 GMT after Swanlakers take on Junior Reformers at 18:00 GMT with both teams needing a win. Swanlakers lost 63-66 to Dunk Knights in Week 7.

Novas, Reformers and Tudu Galaxy share the same record.
