Reigning Sprite Ball Champions Presbyterian Boys Senior High School (PRESEC) Osu begins its quest for a successful title later this week.

The school’s Male Basketball Team shocked the field in Ghana’s biggest High School Basketball competition early this year by winning the trophy.

Osu PRESEC clinched the title with a 25-22 win over record winners of the competition Mfantsipim School in the final game.

All eyes will be trained on the defending champions response to losing all members of the starting unit on its triumphant team including Most Valuable Player at the tournament Joel Koboayere and Prince Lumorvi.

PRESEC is set to compete for a slot in the upcoming edition in January, 2019 when the Greater Accra Region qualifiers commence on Thursday December 6.

The three day qualifiers end on Saturday, December 8 at PRESEC-Legon with a slew of schools in line to jostle for a spot in the 2019 edition.

Ghana’s capital region has four available slots with two in the Boys Division and two in the Girls Division.
