A third game is needed to decide the winning team of the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League in the aftermath of a stalemate in the finals series.
Nungua Coldstore and Tema Heat have battled hard to an even series (1-1) after two games and the third game will decide which team is crowned champion.
Heat stunned number one seed Coldstore 63-58 in Game One but Coldstore leveled the series with a dominant display to win Game 2 with an 86-56 result.
Game 3 is scheduled to be played on December 9 at the Tema Community 4 Court and it is the first time the finals series has travelled to the third game.
In 2016, Coldstore swept Ashaiman Lions to lift the league trophy and Tema Community 4 did same against Lions to win the 2017 title.
Despite featuring in an earlier final, a third game in the series is new to Coldstore and Tema Heat with the latter featuring in its maiden finals.
Heat is sure to welcome Guard Patrick Gomerli back to the fold in the upcoming game while Coldstore Shooting Guard Jonathan Walker played sparingly in Game 2 after recovering from injury.
He is sure to be fully healthy come Sunday.
