African qualifiers for the FIBA 2019 World Cup to be held in China continues tomorrow Friday, November 30 with continental heavyweight primed to book a spot in the world competition.

The qualifiers are due to end later on Sunday, December 2 before the final round commences in February 2019 to determine representatives from the continent in China for the games.

Winners of the past two editions of the African Nations Championship Tunisia and Nigeria have qualified to play at the next World Cup.

However, three places remain and four nations are the closest to filling them which will see them qualify to play in Asia next year.

In Group E, Tunisia has 18 points and is trailed by Angola with 15 points and Egypt with 14 points ahead of qualifying games this weekend.

In Group F, already qualified Nigeria has 18 points from winning all nine games in the qualifiers and is two points ahead of fellow West African nation Senegal.

Surprise package Central African Republic has 13 points and sits third in the group.
