Mfantsiman Girls Senior High School is “charged up” for this year’s Central Regional Basketball qualifiers according to Coach Ernest Koomson.
The school is set to participate in the one day final rounds of qualifiers on Thursday, November 29 at the Adisadel College in Cape-Coast.
Koomson made the statement in an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com as his side prepares to end a two year absence at Ghana’s biggest High School competition- Sprite Ball.
The likes of former national champions and record winners in the female division Wesley Girls High School headlines highly rated contenders for the sole ticket to the national competition.
Despite the daunting task ahead, Koomson is upbeat about his team’s chances of making it saying:
“We are ready for the tournament. My girls are all charged up for tomorrow. We have been out of the Sprite Ball Championship for the past two years and this time around we will definitely clinch that spot to represent Central Region”.
Mfantsiman is a two time Bronze medal winner at Sprite Ball.
