Reformers v Dunk (blue)

Junior Reformers have clinched its third win in the 2018 Accra Basketball League Division II after beating Dunk Knights 63-56.

The game was played earlier tonight at the Lebanon House Court in Tudu in the final round of games in Week 6.

The win gives Reformers three wins in six games this season while dropping a third loss in six games on Dunk who blitzed opponents in the opening weeks of the campaign.

After a slow start to the game, Reformers recovered to close the gap at the end of the first quarter and tied the game at halftime before taking the lead in the second half.

Dunk Knights Guard Prince Lumorvi scored four straight points to give his side a 14-11 first quarter lead after both teams traded shots.

Center Samuel Odamtten gave reformers a 17-16 lead with a layup after gathering an offensive rebound. Teammate Ibrahim Jamal came on strong in the latter part of the quarter with strong drives to the rim. Knights battled hard to tie game at 28 in the first half.

Reformers opened the third quarter with a 13-3 run to end with a 51-38 lead heading to the fourth quarter.
