Greensboro Swarm has lost its top spot in the Eastern Conference of the NBA Gatorade League after losing 95-102 to Austin Spurs.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah featured for Spurs and recorded a 13 point, 12 rebound double double and four blocks in the win.
Brimah’s block tally paced the game and he added two assists in 33 minutes of game time off the bench against the then Conference leaders.
The loss drops Swarm’s record to two in six games and sees them replaced at the summit by Long Island Nets who have four wins in five games.
For Spurs, the win is a positive step following a disappointing start to the season and gives them four wins in eight games ahead of its matchup against Maine Red Claws on Friday, November 23.
The defending champions rank eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference standings; Santa Cruz warriors lead the conference with seven wins in seven games.
Austin Spurs won last season title sweeping Raptors 905 in the Finals.
