Top ranked sides in the ongoing FIBA Women’s Champions Cup, First Bank of Nigeria and Interclube of Angola, face different outlooks in today’s semifinal games.

First Bank takes on homeside Ferroviario Maputo of Mozambique at 20:00 GMT after Interclube plays AS Vita of Democratic Republic of Congo at 17:45 GMT.

Record winners of the competition-Interclube- is heavily tipped to make another finals appearance considering Vita’s record in the tournament.

The team scrapped through the group stage after losing three of four games and managed to beat country rival I.N.S.S. to qualify.

This is Vita’s maiden appearance in the semifinal of the continental tournament adding to the pressure when going up against the experienced Angolan side.

First Bank won a close game against FAP of Cameroon with 69-66 result and has to contend against Maputo’s vociferous crowd.

The home side also looked in imperious form in a 73-40 win over Kenya Ports Authority; the game is expected to be closely contested with no clear cut favorite.
