Ghana Center Amida Brimah is in line to play in Austin Spurs tough matchup tonight against Greensboro Swarm in the NBA Gatorade League.
Brimah broke out of a funk particularly on the offensive end in a win over Lakeland Magic as he scored 11 points and grabbed six rebounds in 22 minutes off the bench.
Amida led the league last season in blocks averaging 2.6 blocks per game helping Austin to a sweep of Raptors 905 in the finals series.
The game pits last season’s league winners Spurs against the best team in the Eastern Conference this season in Greensboro who have four wins in five games.
On the other hand, Austin is having a down year with three wins and four losses but is coming on the back of 101-92 win over Lakeland Magic in its last appearance.
Greensboro last played in the league on November 17 in a 107-99 win over Magic for its third win in the league this season.
Brimah was named University of Connecticut Captain in his final season.
