The team won last year’s Tema Community Basketball League sweeping Ashaiman Lions in the finals series beating the highly rated Lions side.
However, Community 4’s follow up season hasn’t gone quite according to plan as the side has largely fallen short of expectations.
The team failed to defend its league title in the 2018 campaign as it got swept by rival Community 2 in the first round of the playoffs.
C 4 recently featured in the Avenor Tutudoza Festival Basketball Tournament played in Akatsi and missed out on winning the title as it exited the competition at the semifinal stage.
This marked the third straight competition Community 4 has participated in but failed to walk away as winners in the season under review.
Community 4 placed third in the Tema preseason competition dubbed “Battle Ground” placing third with a 32-31 win over Teshie Rangers.
