Ahead of Game One of the 2018 Tema Community Basketball League Finals Series between Nungua Coldstore and Tema Heat, Coldstore Forward Kwame Boamah Djan has delivered a big promise.
In an exclusive chat with Basketballghana.com, the 2017 Defensive Player of the Year promised to score a double-double in Game One of the series.
The series commences on Sunday, November 25 at the Tema Community 4 Court at 17:30 GMT after the original date was moved by management.
Coldstore takes on Heat in its second finals appearance in the league as it aims for a second league title after winning the top trophy in 2016.
Ahead of the opening game of this year’s Finals Series, Djan stated, “I am going to drop 25 points, 20 rebounds and five blocks”.
The former St. Augustine’s College standout is a former Most Valuable Player Award winner in the league winning it in 2016 as he guided Coldstore to lift the league trophy.
