Brimah in action for Spurs.
Ghana Center Amida Brimah has scored 11 points in a 101-92 win over Lakeland Magic for Austin Spurs in the NBA Gatorade League game played earlier today.

The 6 foot 11 inch player scored in double digits after a poor run on offense in recent games; the win is Spurs first victory away from home.

Brimah played 22 minutes off the bench and added six points, an assist and a blocked shot for last season’s league winners.

He converted four of five attempts from the field but was not so prolific from the free throw line as he converted just three of eight attempts.

Amida was one of five players to score in double digits in a game Spurs fielded just nine players with the likes of DeJuan Blair and Josh Huestis not playing.

Nigerian Center and 2018 Second Round pick Chimezie Metu scored a game high 22 points for Spurs with Shooting Guard Nick Johnson draining 21 points in the win.

Spurs play Greensboro Swarm tonight.
