Young Boys Basketball Club has stolen the headlines in Week 4 of the 2018-2019 GSP Basketball League after trouncing Barracks Scorpions.
The team scored a 72-27 win over Scorpions to register its fourth win in four games this season; Young Boys are playing in the league for the first time.
On the other hand, the loss is Scorpions fourth and keeps the side bottom of the ten team standings with just four points to its credit.
The game was played out at the Eusbett Court in Sunyani with two other fixtures while two earlier fixtures took place at the Sunyani Technical University (STU) Court.
Young Boys had four players score in double digits withDavid Ziem leading the way with a 17 point, 20 rebounds double double and four assists.
2016-2017 Most Valuable Player Robert Fiifi Brew scored 11 points and added six assists and two rebounds. Brew played for University of Energy and Natural Resources (UENR) switched teams after UENR pulled out of competing in the current campaign.
Teammates Nii Nartey and Andy Quansah scored 11 and 16 points respectively.
